[JEOPARDY! and Wheel of Fortune]Virginia Dobbs | Obituary | Times West Virginian

  Jenny Mae Dobbs

  Virginia “Jenny” Mae Dobbs, 84, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. She was born April 15, 1937 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Fred Lewis and Marie North.

  Jenny was a devoted Christian who served on the Usher Board at Morning Star Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed having a part in raising her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching or listening to her grandchildren’s basketball games. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Andy Griffith, Days of Our Lives, Price is Right, and old western shows. She enjoyed listening to blues and gospel music. Jenny retired from Westinghouse/North American Phillips after 30 years.

  Jenny is survived by her daughter, Paulette Dobbs; grandchildren, Antoine Tyrone Dobbs, Antonio Donell Dobbs, and Deon Jermaine Dobbs and his wife Memori; great grandchildren, Chauntea Garcia, Donivan Michael Dobbs, Antoine “Ty” Tyrone Dobbs, Zyon Deon Dobbs, and Zycheus Jermaine Dobbs; great great grandchildren, Jayda London Dobbs Elias Garcia; a sister, Lavarna Horton; a special nephew, Fredeick Lewis; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

  In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Donell Dobbs; a daughter, Sharon Marie Dobbs; an infant daughter, Teresa Dobbs; and a sister, Ella Mae Lewis.

  The family will receive friends at Morning Star Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral will be at the church on July 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Wesley Q. Dobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
